Brian Whelan :

Colston's :

How can swearing on a public forum that children have access to be justified Ashley, people can make the point with out the bad language

So you are saying it is OK to demonstrate to kids how to cheat?

What rules of this game are being broken?

Good point Socks. There are not many when you look at the Sweetnitro site.

I never mentioned rules. My point was about setting examples for kids. Wasn't that the point about bad language? It's quite simple really, if we are going to say we can't use bad language because kids are on the forum then by the same principle we should not be arranging match fixing here either.

I have not spoken to Colston's before posting this and my only point is that any Moderator is required to apply the rules as laid down by Sweet Nitro. This is one of the rules that we have all agreed to by joining this forum:

2. The user may send messages among each other in the game. The user shall acknowledge that Sweet Nitro shall not tolerate messages, postings or other content that contains the following:
Curse words, vulgar or obscene statements or sexual contents, regardless of whether explicitly or implied;

We can argue and debate rules, morals and ethics till the cows come home, but we cannot swear without consequences. How difficult is that to understand?

I understand that completely. But again you have missed my point.

Ok but as match fixing is not against the rules how is it cheating? I mean its not as if u can join a group on here and talk tactics and help each other out as a Part of this game? Like maybe a guild or something. Also remember this is basically a computer game, the vast majority of computer games have ways to cheat, they even calm them cheat codes.

No, I honestly get your point.

We can all have an opinion on the rights and wrongs of prearranging the outcome of matches within this game, including whether or not this is a good example for kids. But it is not a Moderators job to tell us which side of this argument is right or wrong, and I would strongly object if they did. I am just pointing out they cannot ignore posts that contain swear words and that when they intervene to remove them, it does not mean they are expressing an opinion on the rest of the content of the post.

If people are upset about arranging matches shouldnt they also jump up and down about using mb, as its basically giving ur players steriods so they can win, should we be encouraging children that steriods use is OK??

Except match bonus exists in the real world.
