Reception and Range

Does Reception and Range improve your Secondary players CB/LB/S ball skills (interceptions ) as well? And if not, why not?

It does yes. There are other factors to take into concideration but all other things being equal a CB/LB/S with better reception and range skills than a receiver will win the ball

I have to wonder what these other stats are. My reception skills, tackling, speed, etc, all maxed. And my cover men just sit there while a WR catches the ball and runs, then chases. It appears to me WRs have the advantage.

I intentionally said factors and not stats. Positioning of the player, pass placement and speed etc will have an influence. This puts the receiver at an advantage, much like the real game.

qBaLL the Horrible :

This puts the receiver at an advantage, much like the real game.

But only if they run the right routes. I've snagged more than a few picks against people with default plays because of my positioning.
