What can Gold Balls be used for?

I have enough now to buy a second "Builder", but, what else can they be used for?
ie, should I be "saving them up" to get enough for something more useful later on in the game?

"Buying land" eh... - that sounds like something I've not come across yet...

- so, get 3 builders "on the job" - then start saving....

At what point does the "land" become available?

If you want to build a new building, you have to buy "land", ie the space where you place your building. And you can buy it either with gold balls or money. Try not to use your balls too fast..

Ah, right. - Yeah - I've been using cash to buy those plots...

Other than more plots, or more builders then, is there any other use for these Gold Balls?

Yeah they are priceless!! You can use them to buy heal kits, recruiter points, money, quick training, speed up a building......
