So if RC Toulon got in contact with Toulouse before a Champions Cup game and pre-arranged the result in the interest of camaraderie because they are both French and it benefits them over the Irish, Welsh, English and Italian clubs, that is one of the essential values of ovalism and nothing at all would be done about it by World Rugby? No punishments, no stigma and, in fact, if World Rugby did act, they would become the neo-nazis of modern sport?

Hello
Good question, except that your arguments do not hold then that RC Toulon and Stade Toulousain are not friendly clubs or belonging to one and the same owner but are two rival clubs.
The whole problem is there.
SN should have made championships or no guild member could face another member of his guild, as in any normal championship
Legitimating denunciation is immoral and complements illegal.

Okay so if two friendly rugby clubs (say, for example, two clubs from twinned towns) pre-arranged the result of a rugby match in the interest of camaraderie and because it gives them an advantage over clubs they are not friendly with, then that is one of the essential values of ovalism and perfectly within the spirit of rugby? Perfectly defensible in your eyes?

In the specific case that you describe, yes, it would not be normal, EXCEPT, that such a championship never happens.
The whole problem is there, it is the SN championship system that is not good.
In real life, all clubs are rivals and are not part of a guild.
On rugby manager, we are put nami by the guilds but we are made to compete in championships at the same time.
The problem is only the composition of the championships that Sweet Nitro gave us.
If you find yourself in a championship with no teammate in your guild, no arrangement will be made.
And that's how our championships should be, right?

Yes I agree that not competing against other members of your guild is a much better solution. However this is not possible because of the low numbers of teams on the same level.

Let me put this another way - even in a friendly training game IN THE SAME CLUB (when not practising moves or outcomes), when have you EVER seen a real rugby team not compete and give their all? People get injured in training too because of how hard players compete. Seriously... THAT, my friend, is the TRUE spirit of rugby. Not some fucking mafia racket holding the entire sport to ransom.

I do not agree.
The clubs drop games regularly, they do not do it frankly and assumed but they do it.
When you put your managerial players, regular players, at rest and you select juniors instead because the following weekend there is a big game with major stakes, it is that you do not put all your Forces at play.
To come back to this story of a badly fucked championship system by Sweet Nitro, I would have preferred to see that:

7 championships at elite level -1 where only the first 2 go up in the one and only elite championship.
In this elite championship, only the first is maintained.
No match arranged possible, or very little because the slightest point will be expensive.

It was certainly more moral and more legal than encouraging denunciation.

In addition level sportiness, it would be at the top because to rise and maintain, it would be damn good.

No?

so fixing another paying player out of a promotion isn’t cheating but in your eyes it’s camaraderie! You really do have no shame trying to defend it and quite frankly the game is better off without u

Hello Ban
Thanks for the question.
Choose between helping a comrade or a friend of my guild and let a stranger beat him, yes, I prefer to help my friend.
I understand that the unknown in itself disappointed but the camaraderie is an essential value in my eyes.
Especially since we do not lie, all guilds do it in a more or less frank way.
But the information does not shock you?
It is however immoral and punishable by law
The scams of which certain players have been guilty and which have necessarily slowed down the development of the game, so our pleasure, don't you mind?
It is however immoral and punishable by law.
It was however much more moral and legal to make championships where no member of guild meets.
As in any self-respecting sport or E-sport championship.
No championship has 2 clubs belonging to a single owner.
But Sweet Nitro chose the easy way and to break the laws by legitimizing the information.
No?

Either way you spin it you’re cheating another player out of promotion buy throwing your game! Your no better than anyone else who have done something wrong in this game you’re defined by your own actions and you’re a cheat

While those whom I criticize, while remaining polite and respectful, have violated the law by making themselves guilty of fraud, it is a crime!
We do not adhere to moral values or 'cheating', (to use your terms), to a video game.
We are talking about a crime punishable by the courts around the world.
Whatever makes you criticize me, please recognize that I am not guilty of any crime, which is to say that I am better than them
Because I have not broken any law.
In addition, I remain respectful towards everyone while trying to dialogue and to propose a system of moral championship and of a very big sporting interest.

Top clubs may drop games on purpose in France, but not elsewhere. And if they do, they get sanctioned by the authorities. Resting players is purely man-management to look after their wellbeing and to prioritise leagues etc. The players that play instead of the rested players will ALWAYS give 100% however to try and prove themselves, because that is is the spirit of rugby.

Perhaps I am naive about cheating in rugby, I honestly didn't think it happened in France, but perhaps it does then? Rugby teams openly throw games in France is what you are telling me?

What you are talking about here is the severity of the nefarious action. One allegedly contravenes the law (although proving the case in a court of law is another matter entirely as they used a legitimate dispute tool put in place by Facebook and all parties were informed for each and every refund requested), the other contravenes the rules of the game. Both are cheating. Objectively and in the eyes of everyone, most especially the developers of the game.

From what i read about refundgate they claimed refunds and that was sent to the developers who had 72 hours to respond! If the developer had acted in response to this claim there wouldn’t of been an issue it was there own negligence that refunds was issued and people took advantage of it! The developers had time to refute their claim and didn’t do so, this isn’t fraud! If 1 party in a court of law over a dispute doesn’t offer a defence or mitigation the courts automatically awards on behalf of the other side which is very similar but it isn’t fraud it’s just dishonest a bit like match fixing another paying player out of promotion to save a friend in the spirit of camaraderie

English clubs cheat a lot, sorry to put that on the carpet but can we talk about the Saracens? Or the quarterfinal of the European Cup between the Harlequins and the Leinster in April 2009 (the famous scandal of blood capsules).
The cheat did not come from France on these cases there seems to me, right?

But let's put that aside, let's talk about the championship system I submitted to you, what do you think?
