How do we participate in these guild war challenges? I have no idea what that means??? Do we just go and find someone random to play against?

If you are either the leader or the right hand, go into the guild challenge screen in the match tab. It will ask you to 'search for opponent' click that then it'll automatically get you an opponent of round about your guild level. You then have 24hrs to play the other guild to try and beat them.
