Can somebody explain to me how the championship works please. I have just finished the latest championship and the team who finished above me has the exact same points same games won lost and drawn and same GA points and I beat him when we played each other but he finished 3rd and I finished 4th how come?

That is a bloody big fluke but if you beat him you should have probably been 3rd but since its only a $200k its not to bad
