Click on him in the strategy, infirmary or training view; at the bottom is a "Transfer" tab. Click on that, there's the option to "Sell" for 10 training points. Click on that and confirm, and your player is listed. Remember that once listed, your player leaves your team regardless of if he is sold or not.
