Select a player (as if you are training them), and on the bottom tab (transfer) you'll have the option to sell or dismiss

You need to build an auction house first in case you have not. You can then select any player and get their summary page and select the transfer section. You can then dismiss them or pay 10$ to sell the player. You then receive the money in 24 hours for whatever is bid for them. Just to warn you that they will simply be removed if no one bids on them.
