Bottom team relegation would be good and if when relegated you have a player with any attributes that are too high for the league down then they get automatically stuck on the market - that would make it more of a scrap and get rid of inactive players

Each season there is effective relegation, because the top 3 go up 2 levels (promotion), the next 6 go up 1 level (Effectively staying the same) and the bottom 5 stay put (relegation) .... This is because the game adds a level each season.

I like Taff's way of looking at it.
I believe the devs have ruled out relegation similar to this suggestion because it would discourage people who've not been able to play whilst on holiday etc. from continuing with the game. Looked at the way Taff suggests, there's no real benefit in introducing relegation anyway, is there? It's already pretty much a scrap to get either into the top 9 or the top 3.
