Most likely your fans are to high, challenges are picked by number of fans

Can I ask the same question, why are some of the challenges SO one sided, we have a challenge coming up against a guild who have nearly every player a level 50 or above (25 players in their guild) and we have 3 !, They have 11 players where their average player quality is 200+ and 3 players with player quality of 300+, we have only 3 players with 200+........Sort it out please ! There is no way we should be pitted against this guild, it just makes the big boys stronger and the lower guild teams despondent, TRY and sort it out pleas !

It's not all about level. We had a challenge recently where our fans were 3.3 million and they were 4.8. They had 17 lvl 50+, 4 lvl 48+ all active, all played both their games and were ranked 45 in the Guild Rankings. Our guild had 7 lvl 50s and above and then a spread of lvls 40, 30 and a few in the 20s. We won 21-18. Everyone played and we were even able to do Cash Cow.
If you have decent players in the guild, the way to win those challenges is by having a really astute GC planner. Our guy reads team's abilities quite well and came up with a three phase/wave plan that really worked.
So sometimes you just need to be a bit more organised and come up with plans. It's really part of the fun and it's a great feeling in the guild when they come off.
That all said, it does sound like you have drawn a freakishly difficult one. Try to play them in the middle of the night to catch their offline strats!

Well, I'm here to eat my words! We have just drawn a super serious Saffa guild with almost 1.5 million more fans than us. Their lowest level player is 52, highest 62. They are ALL active and ALL good. We have 1 lvl 62 (newcomer so may not even play), 6 lvl 50s and above, 5 lvl 40s and the rest of us are lvl 30s and 20s. We are super active but no amount of planning or organisation will win us this challenge. The best we can hope for is to topple something like 18 of theirs with some outstandingly sneaky play [I don't mean MB BTW].
Them's the breaks sometimes...

You may get the break depending on how active they are. The point is you are active and you will develop by trying as playing higher rated opposition stretches your strategy skills. Yes it will be frustrating as well not winning challenges as the rps would help. Focus in the short term on buildings other than stadium unless to unlock new buildings. Plenty of threads explaining how they work out the opposition.

The GVG challenge has become a total farce on the level of opposition. We are currently in a game against a team with lowest star rating of 200 and highest of 260. Fans 224,000 and lowest 180,000.
We have highest 218,000 and lowest 58,000. No way should we have come up against guilds like this.
