Is it possible to have 2 builders working on a building?

No you cant put more than 1 builder on a building project, its an idea i been wanting to add to ideas, to be able to use more builders on same building. Say building time is 1 day. make it so that you can add a builder and half the building time for that project. I have 3 builders and often i'm only able to use 1 because I dont have enough money to put all 3 to work on different buildings..
When I got to 2 builders I really hoped it would work like wonderboy stated, I was saddened it did not...
How many builders can one have?
