I think there should be an automatic cup competition between the 14 teams in the league. 2 teams would need a bye into the quarter finals and 12 teams having to play a first round match. The 2 teams receiving a bye could be random or those that finished in the top 2 none promotion places the season before. I do agree though that the promotion should be just top 2 teams and relegation bottom 2 teams and if this was to happen then it would be more interesting.
