Idea for Improvement to Match Bonus System

I have seen a lot of posts about MB and I take a slightly different view than most. Match Bonuses are paid in real life so there is no reason why there should not be a place for them here. I agree, in it's current form the MB system is spoiling the game for a lot of players (40% is ridiculous) but rather than sign a petition for it's complete removal or just simply have a moan about it, I would like to make a suggestion for improvement. These are the fairly strict rules I place on myself for the use of MB and I am hoping it is possible for the developers to implement something similar:

1. Never used in Guild Challenges.

2. Only used for Tournament semi-finals and finals or the last league game of the season if it is going to decide which of the 2 teams comes 1st and which comes 2nd and ALL of the following conditions are also met:

2.1 If at home, the opposition must be 20*+ better overall than your team.
2.2 If away, the opposition must be 15*+ better overall than your team.
2.3 Maximum 10% Match Bonus period.
Monks had quite a good proposal IMO, that went along the lines of having a limited MB pot available for the season; that way it would be impossible to just dial in max MB for every game, it would involve some skill and judgement of how much to use and when.
