CHEATING

King of the Jungle (#Rugga) :

We are the Hutchie :

I have previously posted my objection to match fixing when it was being done to produce 3 point each draws and Sweet Nitro addressed this. I think that I disagree with teams from different Guilds fixing draws, but I’m not totally sure if it is ok for teams from the same Guild to do it. But Sweet Nitro do not have rules against this within their game. By all means argue that they should, but you can’t accuse players who do this of cheating.

Any form of match fixing in rugby would unquestionably break rules, go against the spirit of the game and be cheating.

The two are not the same.

In our guild you would get kicked out if you would fix a game with a teammate. Many of us are at the same level.. and almost each season, some players are in the same championship. We play a real game.. It never ended in a a draw.
And we were even trying to smash our guild mate to get an offensive bonus.
We haven t even considered once doing a draw... (but again, it s our way of playing.... and I am not asking everybody to do the same)

Exactly, it's your way of playing. But real life rugby players are still real life rugby players if they play differently
Kotj, all these other people are able to clearly follow all this, have you started to understand yet?
Black Monks :

You can feel free to define cheating as you like. I definitely it as breaking a rule. You are the one that set the sides and said if someone disagrees with you it's fine, but it proves they aren't a real rugby player fan or ex player. You are the one trying to shut down disagreement with that statement. I !erely showed how stupid it was to say it and continued to cut off your arms and legs while you co tinued to profess victory.

Jeez, you establish new boundaries each time.
It means a gamer is mainly here to win the game... Is is bad? No.. it s a game... For him, Rugby spirit is not important when he is playing rugby manager.
For somebody who respect Rugby values/spirit... He doesn t care about winning a game if it goes against the spirit...
You can’t be both at the same time when playing here.. You can say “I am fine with match fixing” and the Rugby spirit is really important for me.

Either your priority is to win by all mean as long as it doesn t break Sweet Nitro’s rules.. or you re here for the rugby experience”.. and try to make it as realistic as possible (and don’t want to try some unfair ways to win a game).

I am not criticizing anybody.. I am here for the rugby experience.. and respect that other people are here for the game.
You don t see it as cheating, as for you it s about winning the game.. it can be rugby manager.. cricket manager.. soccer manager.. it s the same.. it s a game..

On our side, it s about having fun with some mates in a “rugby environement” where Rugby spirit is key.

Respect the people that don’t have the same opinion than you. .. jeeez.. man.. do something.. eat some avocados, blueberries etc.. it s good for the brain...
"HONESTY, IT WAS ONLY A LOAN" :

But that’s not the argument you first presented kotj?

See my last comment to Black Monks.

Some people are here for the COMPUTER GAME (with capital letters as you did).. some other people are here for the Rugby experience..and try to make it as realistic as possible.
Can you understand/accept that some people do not have the same way of playing than you?

And once again, I am not criticizing any side...
Mate, listen to others, I'm not the one changing things. There is concensus that you said real rugby players fans and ex players would agree with you, you have acknowledged this is what you said and we have read it multiple times. Therefore if a person disagrees with you then you say they are not real rugby players and to come onto a rugby forum full of rugby fans and players you are insulting everyone of them. Put the shovel down.

All other people? Haha.. I feel your loneliness when you mention that 1 additional person who joined the discussion (probably from your guild)... is “all other people”..

I can imagine what it means when you say “all my other friends” (in real life.. )

You aren't criticizing the other side, you merely said they aren't real rugby players, fans or ex players....

Every poster on here except you and db agree with me. And everyone sees, including db, that you were saying people who disagree with you are not real rugby players. It is clear, you admit it, and it's insulting. If you think that real rugby players and fans can disagree with you then you need to say that your original stat!emt, which started this all, was wrong. And that is fine. I have admitted multiple times on the forum that I had been wrong.

Sorry for the double
