At 1st I was also blinded by the star rating of players and teams, if you have a good setup and players are well rested and morale is good, you can beat teams with double the star rating of your team. I used to only buy 30* players until i realised thats not so important, now i prefer 20* - 25* players then I train them up with the skills I want and by the time they get 30* rating they way better than any other 30* player you will find
