Did people boost on map games ? I find that the boost from strategy building can cancel out the malus from using attack and defense acceleration. By the way, can you overload your players stats with the bonus from strategy building ? For instance, your max stat is 90 at level 11. You get 9 bonus stat from strategy building. Will your player become a 99 max stat or will his max stat stay at 90 ?

No they do not, it's just people trying to explain their failures/having weak strat buildings. Well, I've been told it's not possible to bonus a map game, anyway.
Yes, they will buff over the cap, it's only the base stats that are capped..

I too would like more control of defensive substitutions. The only thing I can suggest is to make different folders with def players until they give us more options.
