GVG for Smaller Teams

Hey guys. New here, less than a month playing the game. This isn't a whine, just an observation. GVG can be a tough place for smaller teams. My team is championship level 4, average 23 stars (I won championship level 2). In the first guild I joined, there were never any GVG matches on my level, so I just contributed with plenty of health kits (10 times more than I received). But opponents would take advantage and I'd find that guys of level 100+ were taking me on in gvg, which I find ridiculous (surely it should be strength vs strength?)

Anyway, the guild gave me the boot, probably because they saw me as a liability in gvg (though there were other teams in the guild of similar level). I don't hold that against them. Haven't seen any gvg matches yet where there are opponents in my league though. Are other teams on low levels getting any gvg matches? Without using mb.

That's likely to be a problem if you join a guild consisting mainly of much stronger teams but there are plenty of guilds made up of less advanced players. Guilds get drawn against others of roughly equal strength (measured by number of fans) so you would get more even contests that way.
Sounds like you're better off out of that first guild. Anyone who boots active players contributing lots of heal kits lacks class.

Agreed, we have 1 or 2 much smaller guys because of friendship and chatter. It might make us weaker to a negligible degree but the advantages are great and the disadvantages easy to overcome.
