I know its best to watch your games and allocate training points accordingly to your players where they need to improve or fit in with your strat. Like most, I allocate in my back line to penetration strength. I am hoping there is a rule of thumb regarding other positions? obviously for 10 = Kick, 9 = pass, maybe 1-3 = scrum? 15 = tackle / safe tackle (I am really guessing now) I am mostly stumped around 6-7, and 8?

All this depends a lot on strat. But ypu can always look at some of the top players, try to find a team without maxed out players and then look what they do. My forwards I focus first on the physical tab and then tackle because I want to be aggressive in those areas. With backs I want speed speed speed then ability to pass and catch passes. I used to max penetration early but now I personally prefer to pass and hope to find gaps.
