Disappearing "chat" messages to teammates.

I posted a pre GC message to my guild this morning ( approx 08:00 GMT) it was posted and read by a few. It has now been removed/deleted or censored. Who could have done this and why? It wasn't offensive or is there restriction involving length, time or any other reason for this?

Chats and messages sent within a few hours of switch over are always removed when they regenerate the new championships it's happened every season for as long as ive been on the game
