Why are the top guilds rated by number of fans?

Hey there. Admin can you explain why the ranking of guilds is done on number of fans? Can we not have a ranking system done on GvG? Simlar to how the IRB does there world rankings? I just don't think having alot of fans is really that inpressive I have a level 20 stadium and 140,000 fans but I'm more interested in my team rating and team performance then that. Just a thought.

Once upon a time it was a good way to define the top guilds as not everyone had 140k. It's just outdated

Our guild has has only 16 teams, five of those are level 22, we only have two under level 20, and they must attain level 21 next season. We are probably ranked about 200 or even less, but weve never lost a gvg, and dont use mb for gvg.
