i know you don't get the second bid back, as i bid on 2 lvl 2 water bottles and purchased both (i was going to be asleep when the auctions ended so i bid on both in case i lost one, they ended up costing me $1 each so i didn't mind the extra spend)
i'm guessing overbidding on an item and then reducing it later allows you to go over your bank max

If you lower one of your existing bids in the Sport shop the game will only give you back money up to the limit of your banks. You will lose anything above this.

Yeah Hutchie but the point is you could use it as a temporary bank and indeed you could keep the process rolling by placing a new huge future bid before reducing the day befores huge future bid. I haven't actually done this but I dont see any reason why not. Thanks for clarifying what happens if you leave multiple bids Targaryen.

Just remember towards the end of the season there is no gear to bid on so that's a problem
