Loaning Players within Guilds

Just wondering if anyone else feels that loaning a player out to a fellow guild member in certain circumstances is an idea worth considering.
We have a team that is having to use a defender as a keeper (has no gold balls at the moment)
so he is losing every game he plays, plus his auction keepers are significantly lower than his ranking, so not worth buying.
any thoughts welcome...

getting the right players is 90% of the game. He needs to get himself orgainsed and buy right and with anough lead time to get his young players trained up. i normally buy my players a couple of seasons before they are needed so that when they do take the field they are maxed in the key skills.
