Is the cloning feature only for the offense because it goes crazy when I use the option for defense?

It should work for defense too. Can you give more details or screenshots about the issue please?

When testing a Defensive formation, pressing the test button is where things are going loopy. No offensive play is called that is where the bug is, as a defensive player gets the ball about a half second after the snap. The test function works just fine for offensive plays.
On a future update, I would love to see an option to choose something other than the default defense to run against. Perhaps you could match that up from a play within the specific users playbook.

again this is something they are behind us in thinking if they knew about american football strategys we wouldn't be haveing these problems hire someont with the knowledge of the game would do wonders towards fixing all this.
