Chat - what is wrong?

This is becoming a real problem now. Chat bar resets every couple of hours or at min once a day. It's killing communications between the guild.

what about adding a static "message of the day" that can be edited as an when needed ? the message must stay on top of the chat at all times

The chat max length have been increased, it must be much better now
