CHEATING

"HONESTY, IT WAS ONLY A LOAN" :

I don’t use mb or arrange draws, never have and never will because I have a good strategy and have been number 1 ranked player on numerous occasions.

Let me take me back to your original statement where you said that you have to be one or the other (a gamer or real rugby person)

My point is I’m in both camps. But I can differentiate between this game and real rugby.

I’m not going around in circles any longer and I wish you well in the game.

Seems like you respond to question like Black M... when you don t have an answer you run away...
Not sure where I can read in your comment how this is not cheating... (cheating is not about “breaking the written rules”... If you think that because it s not written on the website, it s allowed... then I send you back to the definition of “cheating”..
If I follow that way of thinking: if a sport player takes some new drugs to improve his performance, which are not listed yet on the list of forbidden products.. and he get caught few months laters.. you will be like “No it s unfair, the product wasn t listed few months ago.. he were right to take many drugs and pills.. it was just “niggling”.. right? Not cheating at all..

And I confirm.. Here, You can either be a gamer who doesn t mind about Match fixing.. or a Rugby aficionado who plays with the Rugby Spirit..
Third option would be to be the King of the world, but Black Month already took that sit.

KotJ, today at 08:50 you played Lasania from the Guild We Love Rugby. Was the result of that game fixed or not? Were you behaving like a rugby player or a gamer?

So, to use a word that I, and many others, have said is inappropriate but that you have insisted is accurate, did you cheat?

And to save you the trouble looking, you will not find a contrived draw, or a contrived loss, in my Schedule.

Definitely not a game where I agreed with my opponent to get a draw..
And not something that will make somebody else goes to the top of a championship.. and other players go to the botton..

I am not ashamed to say I lost one guild challenge game on purpose to get training points.
And I left my guild teammate a chance to play the GC as he wasn t awake yet.. instead of eliminating both players (sorry I am not selfish.. and we defeated all our opponents..)

But go ahead... look at the championship games.. find one draw.. and have a good look at my championship... I have a guild mate in my championship.. (he is #2) come back in few days and check if we will have a draw here..

So, I am not sure if you think you put me in an embarrasing situation..
I think there s a slight difference... between agreeing with your opponent to get a draw in a championship game... which has a direct impact on the championship ranking for 12 other players... (and you do that because you don’t want to lose...)
And losing a GC game.. which has no impact whatsoever in the game...but then yes.. you ll tell me that I gave him the cash of one game.. true.. he will be able to upgrade a building maybe one hour earlier..

And I don’t think that any of the rugby player here would really complain about this, well except in the case where 20 players would challenge the same guy.. then I would actually agree with you that this would give him an advantage.. and it would be unfair.. (Oh my god, I am not trying to run away with a nuggling response... and I can agree with somebody else’s opinion... Can it really happen in that forum?? )

But what will you tell me? That this is against Rugby spirit? It could be an interesting debate.
On one side, I agree, on the other side, I did it to allow my teammate to having a chance to play as I am not selfish. Which is what we call team spirit..

So on my side, I am not afraid to debate... On the other side, you/black monk/etc. never responded to my question... I am still waiting for a response: How agreeing with your opponent on a draw is not cheating? Bearing in mind, you know it will have an impact on the championship ranking and 12 other players in the championship.

I don’t see any difference, I responded to you honestly...
It would be great if all people in the forum did the same.

I accept that, and I probably edited my post after you replied. We are all playing a game that is based on rugby. My point is that sometimes the lines between the game and the sport get blurred.

This is a SOCIAL STRATEGY GAME. It is all about building strategies, targetting opponents at the right time, and as you have stated a team game to which you want to help yourself and friends/team mates.

Yes arranged matches does disadvantage the person/s not involved but it is all part of a strategy in a social strategy game. This game is far from real rugby with real rugby principles, after nearly 3 years on the game you tend to realise such things. Its a bunch of dots moving around on a screen.

If you want to embed yourself so much into a virtual environment that you apply real life principles good for you but dont accuse people of cheating because they dont conform to your real life principles in a virtual environment.

Actually it makes a difference, and I am also interested in the answer.
If you had in your guild, one teammate who insulted people in a forum from the beginning of a conversation (from saying they are stupid, making some weird joke about alochol... saying to people “burn”... cowardice etc..)..
As a moderator, how do you find such behavior?
