The morale slide obviously comes into play during games. My question is , does it come into play anywhere else? For example do you train better with a 100% morale on?
I am never able to watch my games live so I always set the morale slide the night before a game. Between seasons is there any need to keep setting the morale slide?

Training and Morale are not directly connected. Your second question kind of depends what you do between seasons. If you play Challenge or Map games, your Morale setting will be a factor.
