No idea why you blame the French guilds for that - they tend to only leave 2 or 3 games if they can't make it. It's the Aussie ones, but above all the South Africans that don't seem to play half their games if they don't think they can win.

Different guilds have different ideas, whether it be playing full quota of games or using match bonus.
