When I play a rank game and win, I get money and fans if my stadium isn’t full.
Why, If I get challenged, do I not get:
1. The same amount as a challenge pay (like I do when I win), else, if I win, get the match fees the challenger would have won if ge won?
2. Still get the fans if I win (having defended successfully?
3. Get the training points for my players?

These options will make players vie for top ranks with more vigour, defend harder and ultimately enrich the game which at top level could become rather tedious?

I still believe there is a point - successfully defending will be good to help you build a strong offline too...
The benefit of it being the training points - which I only assume you get from playing rank games in the first place.
