Is there any way to not have the whistle blow ending the game while a play is still in progress. It is not a lot of fun watching your player running towards the endzone for the game winning TD only to have the whistle blow the play dead in the middle of the run.

It's a sync issue. They need to adjust the whistle's code so it triggers client side rather than server side. That way, it wouldn't start blowing until you see the tackle.
